Columbia Eye Doc, Dr. Tezel Cited in Smartphone Vision Loss Story

Tongalp Tezel, MD, Chang Family Professor of Ophthalmology and Director of the Retina Division and Vitreoretinal Fellowship Program, was among physicians cited in a recent article published on www.Today.com, the online version of the morning news and talk show. 

On June 27th, Today Health & Wellness published the story "Two Women Temporarily Lose Sight from Using Smartphones in Bed," in which the causes of a new condition which temporarily blinds those looking at their cell phones laying in bed.
