     On June 21st, Columbia Univeristy Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) and Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons celebrated faculty promotions, honors and awards for the academic year. In recognizing the contributions of those from all subspeciaties and areas of service and care througout the campus, several from the Department of Ophthalmology were named and acknowledged for their contributions on and off of the campus, through the national and international level.
