Clinical Features
Symptoms:
Irritation
May cause inadequate lid closure or corneal dellen if located near the limbus
Signs:
Initially presents as ovoid mass with pedunculated base, which may broaden over time
Fibrous adhesion to the underlying sclera.
Treatment of choice: simple excision at of the base of the lesion.
