Angular Blepharoconjunctivitis

Clinical Features

  • Fissuring, scaling, maceration and erythema of the lateral or medial canthal area
  • May be associated with conjunctival hyperemia and follicular conjunctivitis
  • Commonly caused by Moraxella lacunata and Staphylococcus aureus

Treatment with topical antibiotics such as Erythromycin or Bacitracin ophthalmic ointment.
