  • Also called pulvurenta cataract

Clinical Features

  • Asymptomatic
  • Signs:
    • Usually situated throughout the cortex
    • Fine dust-like opacities within lens nucleus if developed in utero or in infancy
    • May present as dense central opacities within embryonic or fetal nuclei of the lens

Management

  • Observation if not visually significant
