Stanley Chang, M.D. Lectureship

The Stanley Chang Lectureship was established in 2011 in honor of this outstanding physician,
surgeon, teacher, and researcher. Dr. Hilel Lewis provided the initial founding for the lectureship with
the purpose of inviting a national or international clinician-scientist in the field of retinal vision. In late
2011, the Chang lectureship became a joint gift with additional founding from the Annenberg
Foundation with the mission of funding organizations that have a deep level of community involvement.
Dr. Chang is beloved by his patients and friends, and this lectureship is in honor to his major contributions
to the Edward S. Harkness Eye Institute at Columbia and to the field of ophthalmology.
