Cornea/External Disease FAQs
I have keratoconus. Is COC conducting any clinical trials that I can participate in?
Yes. There is new therapy targeted for early keratoconus patients, called Corneal Collagen Crosslinking, which helps halt the progression of this condition. Columbia Ophthalmology was one of the first sites to study this therapy and is currently enrolling patients for its various protocols. For more information about these and other clinical trials at COC, please visit our Clinical Trials page.
